The 325 acre park has 8 trails.  The landscape isn't very hilly around here, but the Salt River has cut some pretty steep valleys in the park.  There are places where you can go down slopes with your brakes locked up and still be sliding down.

Deb Sherrod and I found one cool place where we could get from the rail trail to the park without taking the conventional road in; a logjam where we could portage our bikes across the Salt River.

Isn't nature grand?
