THE CABBAGE JUICE LAB

Students are given a supply of juice from a cut-up purple cabbage; it is a universal indicator.

They are also give a selection of unknown strength acids and bases.  Their job: Determine which is which and rank them by strength.  In the presence of an acid, the juice turns pink.  With a base, it goes green, then yellow.
