a part everyone is familiar with. It shakes when compressional waves
(sound) hit it.
2,3,4 These are the bones that conduct vibrations.
5 The cochlea receives
the vibrations.Inside, tiny hairs are moved by the vibrations.
6 Each hair is at
the end of a nerve cell, which sends signals to the brain.
